Very high standard of service

We had a lovely time at the Gar Amat Boutique Hotel. The service was exemplary, all the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. Our room was spacious and breakfast was tasty. Two pointers for the future - we had to run the taps for many minutes to receive hot water for the shower, while we also did t appreciate the open toaster / grill at breakfast, which was exceptionally hot and potentially dangerous. But we would recommend this hotel.

From the moment we arrived, the hotel made a lasting impression. A beautiful aroma greeted us in the lobby, setting a calm and luxurious tone. Check-in was smooth, thanks to Magdalena at the front desk, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful. She even personally walked us to our parking space, which was just a short 200m from the hotel—such thoughtful service! The lobby was elegant and inviting, and our room exceeded expectations: spacious, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. We especially loved the jetted tub—perfect after a day exploring the city. The location was ideal for our visit—close to all of Granada’s main attractions but still peaceful and quiet at night. We were absolutely delighted with the hotel, the staff, and the overall experience. We’ll definitely be back—and next time, we’ll be booking an even more luxurious room!

The hotel is very well located within walking distance of everything but yet on a quite street. My room 114 was facing anither building in ruins so not a view really but the hotel made up for it in cleanliness, quite and staff. Yes the staff is great! Absolutely lovely, very helpful, very attentive, i have zero complaint, beside no tea station in the room and the one in the library was not available at least 3 out of the 5 times i went looking for a hot drink downstairs. Maybe some free snacks would be nice too. Honestly, it is minor but flagging it here for the future. Thank you for a great stay

The hotel was perfectly located in central Granada. The staff were great and helped out with excellent restaurant recommendations and calling taxis etc. We were very happy with our room and bathroom. The bottle of wine, tea and water were appreciated throughout our stay.

The room was unique and clean. Unfortunately, when we turned on the AC it caused a foul smell. We turned it off and opened the windows as we really didn’t need it. We let reception know so they could look into the issue before the hot weather arrives. Staff was lovely. It’s a great location. Parking was a bit ‘iffy’. Had to park offsite and the parking garage was tight and frightening! Overall pleased with our stay.

Charming place in Granada

Fabulous place. Right in the heart of Granada. All the staff is very helpful and kind. The breakfast is served at a former water reservoir and it is delicious. Mari Carmen the cook is the most amazing lady and her pastries are wonderful.

A very cute boutique hotel located in the center of the city. The hotel has a lot of character and is very clean. The staff are super friendly, and are happy to help organize dinners, shows, etc. They helped us plan a flamenco show + dinner, as well as organized taxis. The breakfast was delicious as well, and the woman who works the kitchen is a delight. Would for sure recommend for anyone looking for a quaint boutique hotel in Granada.

We arrived quite late and were met by Magda who very kindly. It was wxce recommended a local restaurant and managed to book us a table before they closed it was excellent. We also booked a tour of Alhambra through the hotel which was also very good. The hotel was comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches

Good location for old town and shopping

Central hotel great location and funky decor. Parking access was close by. If it’s a weekend it’s noisy! Take earplugs to drown out the late bars. Check you don’t get charged for breakfast unknowingly- we were told it was included and then tried to charge €19 pp on departure! Sorry not worth even half that price given a meal for 2 with wine doesn’t cost much more in Granada!

Oh my goooodness!!! The staff there is amazing. Julieta was soooo helpful in helping us secure tickets/passes for events in the area. She was simply amazing. The other front end/ receiving staff were amazing as well. Thank you everyone!!! Great hotel. A must stay.
