Comfortable, spacious room. Great location, walking distance from the Arabic quarter, about 10-15 min drive (30-40 min uphill walk) to the Alhambra/Nusrid palace. BTW, be sure to book Alhambra/Nusrid palace tickets months in advance.

The location was great, and junior suite was nice and spacious. There was no iron, and no ironing board. we wanted to use the sauna but no bathrobes or slippers. Soap and lotion were mixed up in the bottles and all shower products are unsustainable (Dead Sea products only) so we used our own. The wifi did not work in the room, so we had to go down to the lobby. Service in breakfast room was lacking, and all the coffee and tea was self serve, which made it feel like a cafeteria. Leadership should work on customer service skills with Staff. Smile and really engage with enthusiasm. I watched staff miss out on simple customer service skills.

The location of the hotel is super and convenient for everything. The room is clean. However, I booked the hotel one month before with over €400 per night for two nights in mid October. We were assigned a room in the basement in the first place although there were other options available. We were reassigned a room upstairs after we strongly requested for the change. The room is small and the bed is small. We had to put our luggage in the bathroom. There is no desk or even a hanging wall board to put small things. The service and condition do not match the cost I spent. There are plenty of choices of other hotels nearby.

Overall the hotel was good but…. We had to switch rooms initially as the first room was directly over a noisy side street. There was a foul odor coming from my bathroom than I knew I would not be able to tolerate. The staff was helpful in reassigning our rooms. The second room was better in that it smelled better but a few items could be improved such as the half glass door to the shower that wasn’t quite wide enough so after every shower there was a pool of water on the floor. Also the serve coffee pot has no visible on/off button and no operating instructions were provided. We were there during the national holiday and although the streets were closed intermittently throughout the day many cars were seen driving up and down the street, the staff advised us that they could not call a cab and that we would meet to carry our luggage For two blocks to hail a cab. As luck would have it a cab driver pulled over about 20 feet from the hotel as we trudged with heavy luggage towards the Main Street. The staff at the front desk were helpful in most cases. Overall the staff were understanding and responsive in switching rooms so for that I give them credit. The items needing improvement were not related to staff performance.

Staff was helpful and competent. Room was large, A/C worked well. Location is excellent. Breakfast included a variety of options. Spa services are onsite, arranged with massage personnel who are off-site and come to the hotel, which was really nice.
