Room was fine but check-in not so pleasant. I had to wait for 10-15 minutes while the check-in clerk was seeking things (tableware and comforter) for another person, and then she was very brusque and unfriendly when she checked me in (10:15pm Jan. 23). It was as if I had done something to inconvenience her.

Very poor initial check in. Was told that early checkin would cost $75 and parking would be $35. Nothing of this was on any registration site. I am a long time hilton honors member. No recognition. Also upon questioning these hidden charges was told "that's Charlottesville"

I have stayed at this location before and enjoy it each time. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The location is convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple, but substantial and self-serve. When I was there one of the staff came out to check on it to make sure there was plenty. The location is in the middle of multiple choices for restaurants and activities. It's a great location. I will stay here again.
