Staff Professionalism. All the amenities were excellent. Unfortunately both my husband and I became very ill with food poisoning. Nothing to do with the hotel food but obviously a meal prior to arriving in Gisborne. I required the help of a paramedic. All the staff were so kind and considerate.Nothing was too much trouble. Upon my collapse the paramedic was there very swiftly but I was well cared for by the hotel staff until then and also afterwards. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone and hope I can revisit under different circumstances.

"Awesome welcome on arrival. "
After a long drive over we were welcomed and given directions and recommendations to places available in Gisbourne. Our room had been upgraded and we welcomed the extras that came with the upgrade. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to other travelers

"Best beachfront location and value for money"
Family suite motel room was great - better than the 2 bedroom suite that was smaller and cost more per night.. Well equipped self-contained units. Great location and everything within walking distance. With children, games room was unfortunately upstairs which was unhelpful, and not cheap to play table- tennis/ air hockey etc. Manager was a bit rude which was a shame but the motel accommodation itself is worth the money so we choose to ignore the bad customer service!

Absolutely loved staying here, such a beautiful place with friendly staff and the bikes (though I didn't use them) are a great option if wanting to go to the beach.

"Business Stay"
Arrived late for an overnight stay as part of a business trip. Reception was friendly and room was well presented. The hotel had complimentary drink vouchers for a local restaurant if you ate there and it was walking distance so helped with making a quick decision on where to eat. Overall a good experience and I would recommend this hotel.

"Close to main facilities in Gisborne. A good host."
Found a great meal in town (The Landings). The room had a number of aspects that need minor repairs. New doors and double glazing been ordered apparently.
