Disappointing
We don’t often spend over $700 for two night’s accommodation but when we do we’re expecting a great experience. Unfortunately our stay left a lot to be desired. Upon checking in, we could not get our tv to work and when I tried calling the front desk we realized our phone didn’t work either. In the morning we let a very kind and helpful staff member know and they fixed the tv but the phone was never fixed. There was no room service menu in the room or welcome literature of any kind so I looked up the menu online and then had to walk down three flights of stairs to the front desk to place my order because the elevators were out of order and our room phone didn’t work. We ordered two veggie penne pastas that came as linguine in a watery, bland tomato sauce with huge pieces of raw vegetables like broccoli, bok choy and cauliflower and with tip cost $70! We went for a dip in the heated pool which was nice but two other guests also there had been given nice warm robes from an employee and it would have been nice to also have received that treatment. The shower head in our room came to my husband’s chest so he had to stoop to wash his hair and the coffee machine also did not work. Overall, it was disappointing and not good value for money spent.
