On cool nights enjoy the wood burning fireplace as you cosy up in the boat house. There are two full kitchens (cottage & boathouse), each fully equipped with everything you need for entertaining and food prep, including an ice maker, dishwashers, gas ranges, etc. Both cottage & boathouse have reverse osmosis water filtration systems (RO) so the water is fully drinkable/potable. There is a lower level bar at the boathouse with a fridge and roll up door! Stunning dock with seating for the whole gang and an upper boathouse deck as well. Sun on the front boathouse deck until 6pm daily at this NE facing cottage. This is truly a magical Lake Joe rental!

The Neighborhood:

Located on a quiet bay close to the Cove Marina at Foots Bay and a short drive by boat or car to either Port Carling or Port Sandfield. Port Carling is the hub of the Muskoka Lakes with it’s trendy shops and restaurants plus popular ice cream shops, this cottage is the perfect spot for your summer vacation! On Thursdays there is a farmer’s market in town. Tours of the Big Three Lakes depart Port Carling daily. Or simply kick back and relax! The natural beauty of the Canadian shield is evident at Ada Lake, and the nearby towns have much to offer the visitor with hamlets and endless recreational opportunities.

Getting Around:
You will need a car to get here and you may also wish to rent a boat through our Private Fleet boat rental service. Ask us for more details!

Other Things to Note:
Please note we will place a $5,000 hold on your credit card as a damage deposit to be released once the post check out inspection is completed and no damage is found.
