Conflicted… on one hand the staff is great on the other, internet is painfully slow to the point where you can’t do much at times. Bed is hard and not comfy, “hot” water pretty much cold and the room I was assigned was noisy to the point I couldn’t sleep 3 out of 9 nights. But staff and location is great.

Hotel is very near to eateries. Room is clean with firm bed. Wifi and Air-cond are strong enough. Have been staying at LeDream whenever I come to Georgrtown. As usual, enjoyed a very comfortable stay.

Friendly staffs and effective. The room has some ants at the second morning I told the reception and they had a deep cleaning and the ant problem solved. The surrounding areas have food street, a lots of restaurant, convenient shop and laundry place, very suitable for travel accommodation.

When we arrived we were told that the huge generation is outside making lots of noise and we were offered a different room but worse than the one we paid for. Secondly, the room had a bad smell of sweat and one of the towels was dirty, one pillow case was dirty and I think one of the beds bedding wasn't changed. The hallway wasn't hoovered for ages and it was filthy. The breakfast was diabolical. Diluted orange drink and 2 sorts of cereal. The cooked breakfast had a choice but it was a small tray with few things on it. Overall this was definitely well overrated hotel and I don't know how the reviews rated it as outstanding. I would say dinghy, smelly, dirty and not worth the money they charged.

Highly Recommend Staying Here!

Le Dream Boutique Hotel is an amazing place to stay in Penang - I'll definitely be back on my next trip. The location is excellent. Attractions like Chowrasta Market, Kimberly Street Food Night Market, & Armenian Street Murals are all within walking distance, so we saved a lot on transport. There are also plenty of Michelin eateries and Bib Gourmand spots nearby, plus two fashion malls and two IT malls just minutes away. The sky bar is a great place to chill every night, especially with the jacuzzi right beside it — highly recommended! I loved the freshly fried French fries too. If anything, the sky bar could be even better with a TV for soccer matches or a few more finger food options. Outstanding service! The staff gave us a warm welcome the moment we stepped into the lobby and were always so attentive. E.g., when the sky bar wasn’t open on our second night, a staff member noticed us on the CCTV & immediately came up to open it. They even reserved oysters for us & arranged to have them served at the sky bar. Little touches like heating up the oil just to fry a single serving of fries really showed how much they cared. The room was clean, comfortable, & well-equipped. The bed was supportive (no sinking in!) & the aircon was strong but easy to control with a remote. Even the fridge was super cold — our drinks had ice crystals! I had a great night’s sleep every night. Overall, this hotel has it all — perfect location, lovely facilities, impeccable service, and cosy rooms.
