The space
Because this condo is in the Deer Ridge Mountain Resort, you will have access to an indoor pool/ hot tub, sauna, playground, tennis court, park grills and deck; as well as the Cobbly Nob outdoor pool which is open between memorial day and labor day!

WOW!! Richard’s place exceeded our expectations!! The drive up the mountain was a fantastic winding road and the check in instructions were clear and understandable. The first thing we noticed upon entering was the amazing spiral staircase leading to the loft! What a great feature!! May not be the easiest for elderly or anyone with a lower extremity injury but it’s still a beautiful piece whether you use it or not! The space easily accommodated 4 adults and an 8 year old. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, enough towels and blankets. The view was absolutely incredible. We could see mountains upon mountains😍 It also overlooks the Bent Creek Golf Course so don’t forget your clubs!! The pool and coin laundry are a short walk away and are inside but offers a very large deck that overlooks the mountains! It’s about 20-25 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. We LOVED our stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Gatlinburg area!!—Misty

Frequently Asked Questions:

◊ What does the drive there look like?
• Transparently, because the resort is on part of the Smoky Mountains, the drive up to the resort can be steep and winding. However, the roads are paved and in the winter, they are plowed to ensure utmost safety. If you are terribly uncomfortable with driving on mountains, we will miss getting to host you and recommend another property. BUT, if you can try it out, the National Park views and natural coziness are what make Gatlinburg the tried and true mountain destination.

◊ Do you need to bring your own linens?
• No, no and absolutely not! Our promise to our guests is to provide consistency and to us, consistency means ensuring essentials. We will provide sheets, towels, washcloths, etc so that you can fill your bags with more exciting things!

◊ Is the hot tub private and what is the situation with the pools?
• Fortunately, Deer Ridge Mountain Resort allows guests access to a shared pool/ hot tub area at the resort. Unfortunately, this does mean that neither the hot tub, nor the pool are private. We understand that privacy is sought after, but we hope the extra amenities will make up for it!
• There are two outdoor pools available to guests and both are within a short 8-10 minute drive of the resort. The outdoor pools; however, are only open from Memorial day to Labor day. The specific locations will be shared after booking!

◊ Is smoking allowed in this property?
•The property is a 100% smoke-free zone. This means no smoking is allowed inside the condo, as well as the private patio.
