Independent - accommodation in Garlasco

Everything was great except for the front desk staff when it came to help. Why did I pay for a joint room to first be told they were unavailable, I didn’t respond then somehow got what I paid for. On my last day early morning the power was cut from one of the rooms, I called front desk for someone to check it out no one did & nothing was done about it. Let’s not forget I am pregnant, what if I had slip & fell in the slippery shower? Then what? No accommodation for the inconvenience, nothing. Disgusting behavior for a 5 star hotel.

Room was not equipped with glasses, only paper cups. The coffee machine was not emptied and we had to do that. It wasn’t easy to do. The elevator had a smell in it, the carpet needed to be shampooed. Staff were excellent.

Very clean. Perfect location for us as we were attending a concert 2 mins walk away. Room was very warm. Breakfast buffet included was great, everything you could ask for. Room furniture a little dated but fine. The shower was over a bath, personally I’d much prefer a large walk in shower, I have never taken a bath at a hotel.
