Hotels In Milan Centre

If you’re going to stay in Milan, why not stay right in the heart of it: the historical centre? With our Milan historical centre hotels you can wake up in a region of cobblestone streets, Gothic architecture and cosy cafes and bars. You can also walk to jaw-dropping sights like the Duomo and the La Scala Theatre, so book your Milan historical centre hotel with us for a stay you’ll long remember.

Things to do

Milan Cathedral, also known as the Duomo, is the world’s second largest Catholic cathedral and one of Milan’s most famous sights. Built in 1835, it has an elaborate and beautiful white facade. You can even walk on its rooftop among the spires and statues. In its dark interior you’ll find fascinating statues, sculptures and artworks.

Fancy a night out at the opera? La Scala (Teatro Alla Scala) is a massive theatre where most of Italy’s famous opera performers have taken to the stage, including Antonio Salieri. With a large chandelier and a fancy red and gold interior, the theatre has almost 3,000 seats. Book one and you can sit back and watch opera, ballet, classical recitals and other performances.

And you’re not too far from Milan’s other gems like Sforza Castle and Santa Maria delle Grazie church, where you can see Leonardo da Vinci’s ‘The Last Supper’.

Shopping and dining

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is one of the world’s oldest shopping malls, and one of its most spectacular. A five-storey arcade decorated with statues and mosaics and topped off with a glass dome, it’s full of luxury shopping options and big-name brands.

The Milan historical centre is rich in cafes and restaurants serving succulent Italian meals, with plenty for fish and pasta lovers to enjoy.
