Nautical Nest - 1 block to the Beach, Newly Renovated

Literally steps from the beach (1 block), the Nautical Nest is the perfect spot for your island getaway. You can't get much closer to Galveston's Seawall and beach. This home was recently renovated inside and out in June 2024. Enjoy the Gulf breeze and hear the waves from the front porch. The three bedrooms include 2 queen beds and a bunk room with 2 twin/twin bunk beds. This house has everything you'll need for a relaxing stay in Galveston!

LIVING SPACE

Relax and gather in the spacious living area which includes a large sectional couch with a 55“ SmartTV above a cabinet full of fun family games. Log in to your accounts to enjoy Netflix, HBO, Prime, Hulu, Disney+ and more. You'll also find plenty of throw blankets for your comfort.

BEDROOMS

The 3 bedrooms can sleep the entire family and more!
Two of the bedrooms include a queen bed for you to drift off to a restorative night’s sleep! Both of these bedrooms offer a SmartTV as well. The bunk room includes 2 twin/twin bunk beds and makes a great hangout for the kids. We also include white noise machines to make your slumber as peaceful as can be.

BATHROOMS

Two full baths are offered. One with at tub/shower combo and the other with a walk-in shower. Enjoy steady hot water (tankless) and great water pressure. Bath towels, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and body lotion are provided.

KITCHEN

Prepare a meal or order in. This kitchen is fully equipped with glasses, mugs, plates, bowls & silverware. Coffee/Tea Bar includes drip coffee maker, Keurig, and electric kettle. Dishwasher, blender, toaster, and microwave included. Electric stovetop range + oven. Pots/pans, baking sheet, oil, salt & pepper.

DINING AREA

The dining area includes seating for 4 at a cafe table with 2 additional seats at the bar.

OUTSIDE

Settle in to an adirondack porch chair and watch the waves roll in and feel the cool Gulf breeze. There's street parking in front of the house (guest parking passes provided) as well as private parking in the rear of the house.

LAUNDRY ROOM

A laundry room with washer and dryer is located just off of the kitchen. We include a few detergent pods as well.

This house was perfect for our visit. Even though a smaller place, a great value for a 3 bedroom home with fenced yard a block from the beach! Loved walks on the beach and easy access to many museums, attractions and cruise terminal. Had everything we needed to enjoy a week long stay.

Responsive hosts, great location!

Thoughtful little extras, like coffee and tea. Hosts reponded quickly to resolve tv issue. Fantastic location close to all but just outside the worst traffic areas. Thanks for also being pet friendly! Note that the gravel area is more for parking and quite warm (as I thought this might be more like a back yard). The front porch is a great place to enjoy the comings and goings!
