Quick Weekend Trip

We had a good stay. I just like to leave helpful hints to the next renters - I would recommend no more then 3 (maybe 4 people) stay, as the space is small and there is no way (space) to have quite/time to self. Basic dishes in the kitchen, NO extras (spices - even Salt/Pepper - foil, plastic bags, hand soap in the kitchen, coffee etc...) like other VRBO places sometimes have, but a very large quantity of bath mats under sink in bathroom. Bring everything if you plan to cook anything. The outside grills are brand new & charcoal. Unit is quite on the inside, didn't hear anyone playing at the pool. Queen bed rolls to center with two people sleeping on it. There are a lot of nick-nacks & pillows in the unit - wouldn't recommend renting with small kids - or be ready to put everything up. Nice size balcony, easily fits 4 adults. AC works great. Smaller then normal fridge/freezer (frozen pizza a bit difficult to fit). Smell is a bit ocean/musty (to be expected) but can go away with 1 plug-in/candle. Plenty of towels & bedding for 6 people.

Nice however small and beware of all the hidden fees

We enjoyed the condo, small but enough space for a couple. Bring your own iron, hair dryer - needed also coffee and salt n pepper. Just the little things would have made it a touch like home. Also

We had high hopes for this stay but we were very unhappy by the end of our vacation. Most of the office staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming. Our water was shut off twice during our stay and we were not notified about this or offered anything to make up for the inconvenience. On a few occasions in the middle of the night, we were disturbed by very loud noises from the room above us, as if someone were moving furniture or renovating a space on the next level. We could not keep the apartment cool enough for comfort during the evening hours. The Keurig was dirty and outdated. All of the burners on the stove top did not work. The silverware in the drawer was dirty. We could not stay connected to Wi-Fi despite trying several networks and passwords. The living room furniture was very uncomfortable. The outdoor furniture was rusty. The vanity drawers in the bathroom we’re falling apart when we tried to open them and could not be used. We saved all year for a single vacation for our small family (we paid a large sum) and we were excited about visiting Galveston for the first time. Unfortunately, it did not turn out as we hoped and we will not be back.

Seascape Weekend

As soon as we got there, the guy at the check in bldg. didn’t know we were checking in late even though we called, told them we’d be after-hours and well… don’t you know when it’s after hours? Had to go back to office to get paperwork. Everything I had to spend time signing online I had to do again by hand and turn in. Actual condo: I had to sweep the floor bc of sand all over, couch was full of sand. Tub backs up with standing water.

Nice place

The complex was well-maintained and the pool area is very nice. The condo is small, and not really big enough for more than 2 adults, or one adult and 2 small children. The management company was very responsive to the needs of the customers.

Will stay here again!

Condo unit location was excellent, great view of the pool and ocean! The unit was clean and decorated nice, provided a nice beach atmosphere. The.kitchen is stocked nice, but the renter needs to bring paper towels and trash bags. The stove top didn't work properly, a few of the burners didn't want to work sometimes, the drawers in the bathroom are broken, and the patio decorations and door knob are very rusted and need to be replaced. Overall though, it is a very nice unit and I would like to stay there again.
