OK, but...

Exterior and rooms finished nicely. However, plumbing (bathtub leaked), ice machine became inaccessible, only front desk staff spoke English, no bath mat or hand towels in room (until requested) and breakfast was 100% carbs (and poor quality). Good value for overnight stay

The property was terrible nasty dirty. When my husband and I arrived we checked in they gave us room 105 had no TV in the room then changed us to room 217 so as we pull around get all of our belongings out and start walking to that room this man and lady from the front desk come outside telling us that he can. It give us this room something was. Wrong with it that we had to get changed to now ANOTHER room now we are in room 233 my daughter used the restroom and the toilet flooded the entire room called the office the same man yelled at my husband and I claiming we broke the toilet. Yelling at us saying we was going to pay for it . Now when we first checked in I saw this man come in as we where getting our keys to our room and he had a plunger in his hand I told him sir why would you charge us for a stoped up toilet when your obviously having plumbing issues in the hotel last night when I first saw you, you had a plunger in your hand he denied it. After going round and round about him saying he’s going to charge us for it, he claimed he was going to work on getting us another room he never did and then he said maintenance would come to clean the toilet water that has spilled all over the room, the maintenance man cleaned it up with out towels ringing Them out in the sink and the tub that we were having to bath in and brush our teeth this hotel charge my card $300 for this toilet. I would never go here again and I would definitely recommend you to go elsewhere.

Worst hotel experience EVER!!! Don’t stay here!

The room looked like it was recently repainted and had new flooring. The room was clean and tidy as expected except for the beds being too small and very uncomfortable!! There was no elevator and we were on the 2nd floor. We had to pay for parking at the hotel. Which I have stayed at a whole bunch of different hotels in Galveston over the years and not once had to pay for parking. Which they told us it was “City Ordinance to charge for parking”…. Yeah right… The staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing or even how to properly and quickly check people in. It took us almost 45 minutes to check in, even though we reserved and paid for our room through Hotels.com the night before arriving. While we were trying to check-in there was about 10~15 other guests trying to check-in as well and it seemed like everyone else were having some kind of issue checking in as well. They gave us the wrong hotel room number and key. When I tried to access my room someone was already checked-in to the said room…. I went to front to ask for towels and they tried to tell me that I had to come back in the morning to get more towels, even though we had 3 guests staying in our room with only 1 towel. I had to get a little annoyed with them for someone to finally get me just 2 more towels. There was trash overflowing in the outside trash bins and no one seemed in a hurry to clean up all the overflowing trash!! All-in-all it was one of the worst experiences at a hotel, ever! We will NEVER go back!!!

Was told from front fest no charge for early checking lies $60 but dropped it to $30 because they told me no charge keys had to be charged 5 times lied and said they did not take Apple Cash then toilet did not work vending machine did not work and free breakfast was a joke and it was not clean I will be calling cooperate when I get back

The door locks took repeated, like 2 minutes worth, of swiping in order to unlock. The staff said it was normal because age of locks. Hotel is very old and run down especially evident in the bathrooms

Don’t stay here!!! Nasty

If I can give it a 0 I would. The pictures are deceptive. Save your $$$ and don’t book here. We got supposedly the best room in the hotel and if that’s the best I don’t want to see a regular room. The sheets were full of long hairs the smell of damp mold was nauseating. The tub had hairs and old used soap and a dirty used towel. They obviously didn’t clean the room properly I had to sleep with one eye open scared of any critters that may be hiding out in this nastiness. I tried to cancel 2nd night but they refuse to refund me even though the service was unacceptable!!! We left as soon as we woke up couldn’t even shower and then spent more on another room for our second night. Horrible experience i do not recommend!!! Stay away!!!! The least they could have done is refund me for the extra night that I’m not staying.

Most inadequate hotel ever. Never again!

This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed. No products in room. Lamps were rusty. Painted over mold. Self remodeling and don’t not know what they’re doing. Plumbing: water sprayed everywhere in shower and sink ran everywhere. Beach view only from front desk. Rest of view was very old housing with lots of kids. Almost slum area. Had to pay for parking outside of room. This was a very old, rundown, and dirty place. All doors to room are outside. No inside entry.

Not a great experience.

Very accommodating Suite for large family, but dirty. Mold on shower curtain and very dirty floors, left socks completely black with something that did not look like dirt. Pillow cases were dirty as well.
