Furzebrook Holiday Packages

This was a lovely boutique hotel and perfect for what I needed for a one-night stay in London. I booked it mainly for convenience, as it was close to the train station and made continuing my journey very easy. The room was stylish, modern, and comfortable, with a feel similar to a Moxy hotel or a CB2/West Elm-style boutique property. The bathroom was small, but modern, functional, and had great water pressure. The bed was extremely comfortable, the air conditioning worked very well, and the room felt thoughtfully designed. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. I arrived during a World Cup game, so the hotel and bar area were very lively, but the staff still greeted me warmly, brought me a bottle of water, and personally showed me to my room. That immediately made me feel taken care of, and honestly, I would have happily stayed longer. The only thing to note is the location. The hotel sits on the edge of an area that may feel a little rough depending on which direction you walk. If you leave the hotel and go right, you’ll find a cute part of London with bars, restaurants, and a Tesco nearby. If you go left, the neighborhood feels less inviting, so solo travelers may want to be mindful of that. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was stylish, comfortable, convenient, well-run, and had genuinely kind staff. For a short London stay near the station, it was a great choice.

The breakfast was amazing!

Stayed here for 4 days while touring London. The hotel is so close to Parliament, Westminster Abbey, and Big Ben, and also walking distance to two stations of the Underground. The staff is very kind and accommodating, and the included breakfast has so many options and is excellent. There is a cafe/bar off the lobby too. Definitely recommend!

We booked the hotel to attend a gig at Hyde park so location wise it was great. The kerb side appeal and entrance of the hotel along with an excellent reception and customer service gave a great first impression. The room however was somewhat disappointing. We were in the bowels of the earth in a very small room, barely enough to walk around the bed, with a bathroom barely big enough to move around. The shower still had the hair of the last occupant, the shower door didn’t work well and the wood work was rotten The natural light in the room was poor. General maintaining the room was poor- damaged head boots and rotten skirting boards for example The bed was small but very comfortable There was a iron and fridge in the room although not sure how you could use a ironing board in the room as there wasn’t space near to a plug to set one up There were nice touches like fruit and water in the room. Soundproofing to the upstairs rooms was very poor, I could tell what they were doing on the toilet and sounded like there was a marching band rehearsing Breakfast was adequate Whilst the staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn’t do enough for you, the hotel really wasn’t value for money. Their room descriptors are not accurate. How this was a deluxe room I really do not know and at just under £300 per night, it really didn’t live up to expectations
