Great base in Funchal for exploring the island.

A very clean, nicely furnished and well-equipped little house with a sunny terrace. It's In a good, fairly central location, near the Santa Caterina gardens, with bus stops very close by. Hostess Rosa was warmly welcoming - and she very kindly taxied us to and from the airport

This is a central location, walking distance to lido beach and the main town area. The apartment was spotless, really clean. Only downfall is there is no air conditioning in the apartment.

Fantastic location

Great apartment in a fantastic location, close to both Funchal centre and the marina. Rosa was a great host and provided a free transfer to and from the airport which we really appreciated. The apartment is bigger than anticipated, was spotless and had everything we needed. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

We really enjoyed our stay

Firstly, Rosa is a great host, very helpful and polite. We didnt have any trouble at all, she even provided us with a free airport transfer. Its the first time I see a host do that, so we appreciate it very much. Secondly, the apartment itself is really nice, clean and cozy, it has everything you need. The beds are big and comfortable, the terrace was a great bonus. The location is perfect, close to the sea cost and the city center. The dogs in the neighborhood are pretty annoying, but bringing good earplugs should solve the problem. I can totally recommend a stay here.

We were very pleased to find such a spotlessly clean convenient apartment for our visit to Funchal.

Everything was as advertised. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. Rosa was very helpful and informative about the local area and we especially appreciated the airport transfers. The harbour area was only about 10 minutes walk and there is an attractive park just across the road. There is a good choice of snack bars and restaurants nearby. The bus service is good for visiting other parts of the island.

Excellent apartment in a great location

The apartment was ideal for our stay in Funchal. All facilities and equipment were exactly as advertised and the apartment was spotless. The location is just a short walk from the city centre. The apartment is generally peaceful but, as is common on Madeira, there are a number of dogs in the neighbourhood that can bark at length at any time of the day or night (outwith the control of the owner).

Thanks Rosa for a pleasant stay, lovely cosy apartment. The transfers to and from the airport were a great addition that made it a lot easier with the children. Not far from shops or bus stops so ideal. We will be staying here again when back in Madeira. Thanks you!

Fantastic apartment, great location and spotlessly clean.

Spent a lovely week here in the middle of May. Rosa was very helpful in all her communications and answered any questions promptly. Having free airport transfers as part of the cost was wonderful as we did not know the area. The apartment was small but had everything that you required, it was spotlessly clean and had more than ample extra linen and towels. The location is very central with the centre of Funcal literally minutes walk away. You are also close to bus stops, restaurants and bars. Unfortunately the neighbors all have dogs that do bark a lot and can be quite off putting and noisy so not as peaceful as it could be but you get used to it after a couple of days. The outdoor balcony is a sun trap and lovely to sit out on. We would definitely return to this apartment and highly recommend it, excellent value for money.

Brilliant place to stay. Very close to Funchal centre and harbour. Good restaurants close by.

The property has all you need for agood holiday. The terrace was lovely. with a sunbed and comfy seats. The terrace also had alarge parasol. The beds were comfortable. Everything you needed was in the flat. Owner Rosa very pleasant and helpful.

My second stay with Rosa this time in the upstairs apartment. Lovely large terrace and good to have a huge umbrella for shade. Also good to have upstairs loo as main bathroom is downstairs. Would recommend and definitely use again myself.

The location of the property is excellent - so centrally located we didn't have to get a bus anywhere in funchal, and the apartment is so well equipped. It is very well presented and so clean. This property certainly deserves 5 stars. Rosa's communication is excellent too. If/when we come back to Madeira we will rebook. It is about 1.5 miles from the lido so that is great for those needing a bit of cooling in the Madeiran sun. Great restaurants literally around the corner or within a mile's walk. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Emplacement parfait

À deux pas du centre ville,cet appartement est très bien situé !il y a une belle terrasse à l étage de cette petite maison avec un salon en osier un parasol et un sèche linge,par contre il n' y a pas salon dans l appartement,juste une petite salle à manger , malgré tout on s y sent très bien! très bon rapport qualité prix !
