For the most part, this was a pretty nice place, for a hostel/capsule hotel. The up-sides: The bed was spacious enough; there was a TV at the foot of the bed that I could plug my Switch into; there was no "forced check out" each day and no "checking out" every time you leave -- in fact, I stayed there a week and was never forced to vacate the room; the 2nd floor showers were nice and the relaxation room was spacious. The front desk staff and the female cleaning crew were all lovely and kind. Down-sides: The bathroom floors were pretty dirty, the entire time I was there. Every time I used the vending machine on the 3rd floor, I could smell the nearby bathroom. Any time I took out my earphones, it felt like there always some guy looching in a nearby sink and/or trying to throw up or something. I had a 'single' room, but MAN was it narrow (~3ft for the bed + ~3ft beside the bed * ~6ft long * ~10ft high). The chairs in the relaxation room seems like the $15 Ikea 'specials' -- you could really feel the cross-beams. The (male) cleaning crew impatiently ran the vacuum cleaner immediately behind my feet while 'waiting' for me to take off the slippers provided in the bathroom, on my way out. (Gimme freaking 10sec guys, yeesh.) One of the Indo-jins working at the nearby Family Mart gave me grief when I used Japanese (ie. 「袋お願いします」when I sat down my shopping basket.) Conclusion: ABSOLUTELY bring your noise-cancelling earphones. (2+ pairs) Then everything's nice.😌

Drug addicts and no security. A dirty place

There was a drug addict tourist there with tattoos over him the staff did not keep him under control. The staff did not clean room or change bedding, my pillow and sheets were dirty when I checked in even had blood on them. They do the sheets on the floor where people walk really unhygienic. They will not store luggage on departure day. This place is catering for more drug addicts than safe tourists, there is no security anyone can enter with no security checks. Avoid this place. When I left today the drug addict was still there

Be careful for their dynamic pricing

The staff was fairly friendly. The place is absolutely clean and the location is prettt good. Near main train station that you can easily get to feom the airport or bullet train station. My main thing that i absolutely hated was the dynamic pricing used. The average night is priced at 3200¥. Which for a capsule hotel is a bit expensive, but considering the times understandable. However on friday that price is more than doubled and on saturdays it is more than 4 TIMES THE NIGHT RATE. To me that feels like extortion. If you are staying in Fukuoka on a friday or saturday. You might as well book a 3star hotel or love hotel. Will cost you the same price or less for more luxury and comfort. I find it absolutely disgraceful and disrespectful to charge that much for a capsule hotel. And by that i mean over 118$ CAD for the saturday night and 66 CAD for the friday, and that was after a 20% hotel loyalty discount was applied. Absolute ripoff of a price. That aside, i also wish the semi private rooms actually had a lock on the curtian door and not a tie wrap to attach to a hook. And if the vent in the capsule could be controlled a little kore temperature wise. One night i had hot air blasting on me which was not comfortable as i was already overheating.

Lovely capsule-style hotel within walking distance of Tenjin-minami station; shared facilities were clean and well-maintained, the semi-private cabins were good quality and decent size. Only downside was the inability to turn off or cover the air vent into the cabin, which meant an almost unbearably warm night's rest for one night of my stay.

This was my first stay in a capsule-style hotel, and I was very satisfied with it. The capsules were surprisingly spacious and the facilities were clean and well looked after. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from Tenjin-Minami subway station, with other stations only a few minutes further away. Highly recommended.

***Semi private cabin*** It has its pros and cons: Pros - you can keep your items closer to your cabin and spread yourself out a little more compared to a standard cabin Cons - however, this is not like having your own room. It means others using nearby semi-private cabins can be going into their lockers and bags at all times of the night and disturb your sleep. I have found other standard cabins/capsules to be more respectful on noise levels throughout the night. Unfortunately I experienced the worst sleep here during my entire vacation because of this. These cabins have not been sound proofed. The reverberations of my neighbours snoring could be heard despite of ear plugs and white noise

Pricy and not great.

It was expensive for a capsule hotel, over 9 nights i spent over 50000 yen(i guess cause of the festival?) And the laundry was 3x the price of any hotel i've been to. No free razors. Wasn't very comfortable, and they don't even want you to drink water in the capsule. I wish i would've spent a bit extra for a regular hotel. Only good thing was they had a big tv in the capsule.

Modern new and clean hotel, facilities and amenities are all good. Front-desk is helpful. The temperature in the cabins is a bit high and you can't control it. Other than that, a safe clean place to sleep and freshen yourself up and extremely centrally located, very convenient for walking!
