Great boutique hotel in a good location, 8 minute walk to the train station. From the airport you can catch the train to Hakata station which is faster and less than a taxi. Rooms were clean and a good size. Walking distance to canal city shopping and restaurants. Only neg is the beds are ultra hard.

We had a lovely stay at Amistad. Best shower in Japan. Walking distance to Canal City shopping centre and Hakata train station. Grocery and restaurants in 2 mins walk from hotel. It is a small hotel but relatively new and well maintained. Room is spacious and clean, just as the pictures on the website. Communication is done via a 'talking translator' - inspite of this challenge - the Front desk staff are helpful and pleasant. We had an enjoyable 2-week stay. If there is room for improvement, may we suggest 2 items. One, that the hotel provides a luggage rack in the room. Two, servicing of the guest room (done every 4 days) should include changing of the bedsheets.

１部屋で2人以上泊まれるホテルはなかなかないので今回は４人で宿泊できてとても満足しました。広い部屋で清潔でとても快適に過ごせました。シャワーとトイレが別なのも嬉しかったですが、お風呂は湯船がなくシャワー室が狭いので動きにくかったです。フロント前でシャンプー、リンスが選べたのはテンション上がりました。宿泊するだけだったので従業員と交わしたのはチェックイン、チェックアウトだけでしたが特に不満はありませんでした。
