I booked this trip to surprise my partner for his birthday, he has been in travel for over 40years I was hopeful that I could impress him. On arrival the member of staff was not very welcoming, I was handed the key fob, sign this form pay the tax, off you go. No information re breakfast where it was served plus times, as a result we ate out.
Our room was as expected, very clean, quite small. The view was stunning, next to the window hung a curtain that covered the rest of the wall, on pulling it back I expected another window, no window ! not sure why the curtain was there.
Shame the hotel didn’t acknowledge my partner’s birthday, a simple card would have been appreciated.
I would recommend the hotel only if I could guarantee the attitude of the staff was improved
