The Family House features a front deck and side deck with views of the Gulf and the Bay. The decks are lined with tall, mature palm trees, so you can hear them rustle in the breeze and relax. A stainless-steel gas grill, plus chairs and tables for just relaxing, and Lounge chairs to lie back and catch a tan. It's a great spot to relax, have some wine, and watch the sunset. Or grill up some steaks and entertain with friends. The house has an open floor plan, beach decor, lots of large windows, and is a short walk to a beautiful, long Texas beach. The house is a 3-bedroom, 2-bath, with a large 2-queen-bed loft. All bedrooms and the loft have their own TVs with Dish Network. Fully furnished and nicely appointed, the first floor has a pull-out couch, 50" LED, Dish Network, DVD, open kitchen, granite counters, nice new appliances, and a large washer and dryer. A drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, and a fully equipped kitchen. Two full bathrooms, your own bath in the master. Newly remodeled in 2026. Features: Three bedrooms with queen beds in each, two queens in the loft with your own TV. Shelling on along our Texas shores. We offer Kayaking, Deep-Sea Fishing, and Bay Fishing. Galveston has Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, great restaurants, and the Strand.

Thanksgiving Retreat

We love staying in this VRBO. We enjoy beautiful sunrises, and sunsets. The wrap around deck allows for views of the Gulf and bay. The house comes with plenty of cooking supplies that makes cooking meals easy. Plenty of covered parking, access to water, which makes beach clean up and and convenient. You can even watch TV if you want, but why when you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the beach.

Great for family vacation

We stayed here with 5 adults and 5 kids and we all fit just fine. Kitchen had all the items we needed and then some. 2 minute walk to the beach. Check in was super easy. We had a vehicle breakdown and couldn’t move it and Paul was extremely patient and kind throughout the whole process. Great location and great place. Thanks for sharing it with us Paul!

Perfect place for a getaway!

Love this VRBO. Nice location near San Louis Pass. It's our second time to stay at this house. This time we enjoyed daily flyovers from local Seahawks, Pelicans and many other birds. Love sunrises and sunsets. The house is clean. Has good assortment of cooking dishes and utensils which makes cooking a breeze. Beds are comfy, nice towels and linens. Plenty of room in the house and spacious deck, and covered parking We especially love the location and easy access to the beach and San Louis Pass.

Spontaneous Beach Break

We decided to take a last minute trip to the beach for spring break and we were able to book this gem of a beach house literally the day before. Paul was very quick with responses to questions and the house was clean and provided us with everything we needed. It was actually the easiest check in/out I've experienced with a vrbo. We had a lovely time. The water close to the house does not have a beach, it's a rocky jetty which is beautiful to take a stroll too, but the beach access isn't far and we were able to park right on the spot we chose to have our water and sand fun so everything was right where we needed it and we didn't have to lug our gear from a far parking lot. This spot near the San Luis pass was not crowded for break like everything is closer to Galveston so we loved it. Make sure to go grab dinner at Red Snapper Inn, it is fabulous!!! Would definitely come back to this spot!

Thanksgiving at the Beach

Nice house to stay in. 3 bedrooms plus the loft. (We never used) We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets on the deck and tables were perfect for early morning coffee and evening glasses of wine. Bird watching was easy. We could see Spoonbills, Ibis, Hawks, Sandpipers and more. Plenty of kitchen amenities that we were able to bake and prepare nice meals and watch the football games. Plenty of towels and comfy beds. Nice covered roomy driveway was great! It's a peaceful area with easy access to the beach. Being at the Pass you able witness the drama of gulf as it erodes the eastern edge of Treasure Island area. We hope to stay here again.

Very nice home near a quiet stretch of beach

This is was wonderful property for a getaway with extended family. Close to a very nice, quiet, and clean stretch of beach. Property is as described in the listing and the owner was easily reachable and quick to respond to questions. Pro tip- bring lots of bug spray, the mosquitoes are abundant in the neighborhood!

Very nice house. My family had a great week. We rented a golfcart to transport people and gear to the beach. I recommend that. The house was stocked well for cooking. The beach was not crowded. Good times. This property worked great for us.
