Beautiful house with plenty of room for our group of 8. Kitchen had two of everything (ovens, stoves coffee makers, fridges, dishwashers, etc) and more than enough cooking supplies, dishes, drinkware and silverware for more than 20 Vacuums, brooms and cleaning supplies were even really available if a mess was made. More than enough seating for food as well as relaxation.The location on the beach was great with a mart that was a quick walk away and the beach just out the other side. And the beach was sooo empty relative to other beaches we’ve been to.It was a great place to bring groceries and escape everything or drive a little bit to a number of restaurants and Houston and Galveston were quick trips away (45-60 Minutes)A few things that would have made the trip even better, but didn’t derail it.We couldn't figure out the ice maker. Ask about it the first day!There were two microwaves, one was out of order and then other one didn’t see to work. They were apologetic about the inconvenience as the second one seemed to stop working while we were there.There is a key stored in a lockbox. This was the biggest challenge for us as we didn’t leave the house unlocked if we were the last one out but didn’t always think to put it in the lockbox. Finally, the windows don’t open in many rooms. There is really one entry and exit point.Even with this, we would come back! We have stayed at a lot of places on the beach and this was a favorite.
