Tank House w/personal hot tub & fireplace on Main St.

The Tank House was built from an original water tank house on one of the town’s oldest properties. Before modern conveniences of electricity and public water mains, residents used this tank house to supply and store their own water for their house and garden. When it was used for its primary purpose, this tank house functioned using a windmill and a hand-dug well. The windmill pumped the well water into the tank at the top of the tank house, so the water could run down to the house and garden.

One of the most unique suites at our Fredericksburg, Texas bed & breakfast, the Tank House was literally built from an original water tank house on one of the town’s oldest properties. Tank House

Lovely accommodations. An assortment of breakfast pastries from one of the local bakery along with juices were waiting for us in the room. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. All of which made our stay more enjoyable. Only suggestion we have would be to replace the mattress.
Stayed 3 nights in May 2024
