Close to town but quite and private
Really nice place set out away from all the noise. Very quiet and able to see the stars. Close drive to Fredericksburg and all the wineries. Breakfast was outstanding. Not the hotel breakfast but a good home cooked breakfast. Extremely clean and the staff was excellent. Not sure if she is always on site but the owner was there and she was also very nice and welcoming. Would be hard to make a better stay.

My husband and I stayed her for the first time. We were in the Sunset Room and loved the sitting room with the wrap around porch. Both are great places to soak up nature and have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The breakfasts were delicious and the amenities were appreciated. We will be back.
