Very nicely appointed. My only criticism would be that a drying mat in the kitchenette and a small nightlight in the shower area would be nice. The double sinks were great. It was quiet, but easily accessible to all that Fredericksburg has to offer.

Cute little cottage. Perfect for two. Very quite. The cottage has an AC unit and ceiling fan. Small studio-like kitchen. Small coffee maker and a small fridge. The bathroom shower is a good size and clean.

Lovely visit!

We come to Fredericksburg fairly often and enjoy our little getaways. Some properties we have stayed in, we will not return to. Main Street Retreat is on the list to stay in again. It is quiet and has great parking. The unit was comfortable, clean and just the right size for two people. We will be back soon!

great location, QUIET!

super quiet location but still close enough to walk to Main St shopping; the fireplaces was AWESOME because of the rain & below-freezing temps; the outside light made for restless sleeping, though, we couldn't turn it off & it was shining through all the blind slats :( ... we would stay again

Our first priority was a fireplace. An electric fireplace doesn’t count. The description should be more specific. We had hoped to use the grill, and even asked if we needed to bring charcoal, and were told yes, but it wasn’t a charcoal grill? Did the managers even know the property? We chose this place based on the amenities and were disappointed.

The rental was basically a hotel room. The online pictures make it look like a multi-room rental, but it is not. The bathroom is only separated from the living/sleeping area. But it was very nice and comfortable.

Clean nice place but BEWARE THE BATHROOM

Cute little studio apartment but not an ok bathroom situation. Clear glass windows look directly into the bathroom (can see both the shower and toilet from the bed) so there is zero privacy when you want to poop and your partner is in the room. There is no fan noise to drown out any sounds. Please put curtains or something over the windows for the next guests!
