I would not recommend staying here. Property itself has nice exterior appearance but once you get in you see the truth. I bet this place was a lot nicer when it first started being rented out. Sofa had very questionable stains, a check in book had some very vulgar things written in it, bed sheets on both beds had not been changed for some time, lots of hair, fuzz, and even dead bugs between the sheets. Place is supposedly strict on parking and there are only 3 designated spots, and another guest had double parked, and 2 other cars were parked in non designated areas, while I can’t blame the property owners necessarily, I think the fact that they permitted this to happen is just another sign of the “who cares, good enough” attitude. Management, while initially was responsive, they went completely missing for over 2 days after I complained about the sheets and asked for them to be changed out. Long story short, DONT STAY HERE! The property is being sold, probably because the current owners can’t be bothered to do anything besides take your money based on lies and false advertising. It wasn’t horrible but it failed in key areas, which is why I could not recommend staying here, especially when there’s so many better places in Fredricksburg to stay.

Closer to the road than expected. Road noise did not bother us. Lovely spot and a convenient drive to do things in Fredericksburg and surrounding areas.

It was far from town and the road noise was loud at times. The cabin was very clean but very rustic. Not our thing. Bathtub didn't have a plug and it was strange that there were no tissues. Served our purpose but won't stay there again when we go back to Fredericksburg. They did communicate often and well - I will give them that.

Manage expectations

Cute barn, but was 10 feet off the Highway & was a big noisy. Owners were working on property 10 yards from the glass front door so privacy wasn’t great. no ice/ ice cube trays or bottled water. Interior walls are very thin so the sound really carries
