I was under the impression it was within a couple blocks of the downtown area and shops, sadly we had to drive instead of walk everywhere. House was cute though, very tidy and nice decor. One of the beds is so high off the ground you have to jump or climb to get in it. The stepping stool was too wobbly to use. The worst thing was small dirty shower. A tall person or a man could not fit. It also needs a new curtain liner since the current one has mold on it. Priced too high for the value in my opinion.

Beautiful Sunday Haus! Like stepping back in time when life was simpler! Everything was perfect and just as described in the listing. We loved the Tuxedo kitty! We really enjoyed staying at this cozy two bedroom cottage. We thought it was in a great location. The neighborhood was quiet and not far from the center of town. The host was very accommodating and went the extra mile recommending the flower shop and assisting in the delivery process prior to our arrival. We will make a return trip.

Cute Acorn Cottage

Such a sweet cottage. It was perfect for our stay. Close to Main Street. Owners were responsive. We even made a friend out of the sweet cat Tia. I hope the next people that come in take care of her by leaving food out for her. Poor thing was getting beat up by something.

Great Getaway

We were looking for a nice alternative to a hotel for a quick one night getaway. Little Acorn was perfect! It was clean, all the amenities were as advertised and the AC was super cold! (Much needed on a 100 degree day). Will 100% look to return on our next overnight to Fredericksburg.
