We’ve stayed as a few Motel Ones this trip and this one was a perfect location. Only issue I had was the staff was not as friendly. The front desk accidentally charged 4 days of parking for a two night stay. I was not angry, mistakes happen. When I noticed it on the invoice I went back to the front desk to have it corrected. I was first told the person who did it was on break but to come back later. I asked the girl if she was not able to do it herself. She said she was in training and did not know how to. She then said she had another colleague in the back and brought him out. There was no apology or for the mistake. he rudely asked for my credit card and gave me my paperwork that he credited me back. Again, no apology or remorse for the overcharge. I’m sorry, but I expect an apology when you make a mistake especially when you’re overcharging me. I didn’t go down angry. I just pointed out the mistake and asked them to fix it. I expect much better service from them since we received much better service in the other cities that we stayed with them. I also noticed that breakfast tables were not cleared so it made it harder to find a place to eat during the week when the hotel is crowded.
