Absolutely disgraceful and completely thieving business! If I could give less than 1 star I would. I stayed at this Pub in Dec 25 and the accommodation was booked and paid for weeks prior with a well known and reputable third party. Upon arrival it was questioned whether I had paid for the accommodation and I advised the lady that yes it was paid for already and I showed her the receipt. She said no problem and acknowledged that it had been paid. Upon checkout, I was waiting to be served and I saw another couple in front of me who were also questioning why they were being charged, as they had also paid their bill weeks earlier. They also provided a receipt providing proof of payment to the staff member. The employee explained to them that their computer system is down and nothing is working properly at the moment and there are often issues. She told them not to worry and the accommodation bill would be removed. She then tried to charge them an additional amount for apparent in room food charges but could
not provide an explanation as to what the charges were for. After this abysmal example of customer service, I then saw a third couple after me complain about the exact same thing. Yet again, additional charges trying to be laid when they had already been paid. When it came time for me to check out, the lady behind the bar confirmed that my bill had been paid and she also took a screenshot of the receipt and said she’d pass it onto the manager.
