It is right in the heart of the action of the beach strip in Fortaleza. As Americans we didn't realize that most people swim at a beach that is a taxi ride away. however, we didn't see any hotels near that beach, and this is the area for walking and restaurants etc. Excellent breakfast buffet.

All the staff were amazing there is to many to name… Auri, Luco, Gorgia, Juan, to name a few. The staff at the pool bar, the lovely gentleman at the lobby bar. Thank you so much for making my and my 11 years old son’s stay a wonderful one.
The staff is truly amazing. I love this place. The people at the front could not be kinder. The people in the SPA are just as kind. Asking if I want water, tea etc. They make me feel so welcomed.
The new pool is spectacular, what a view. The spa area is so relaxing, very zen atmosphere. The gym has state of the art equipment and is very clean. Perfect way to start your day , workout, go to the steam room and jacuzzi then have a delicious breakfast with a view of the beach. Truly amazing. I love this place and it will be the only place I will ever stay when I am in Fortaleza.
The Gran Marquise Hotel is exceptional, largely thanks to its incredible staff. From the warm welcome by the Vallett team to the reception staff's attentive service, great service at the bar and restaurants, to room service, every staff member goes above and beyond to make me and my family feel at home. This is my third year here, and I won't stay anywhere else. The staff's positive attitude extends to every part of the hotel, from reception to the bar, restaurants, and rooms.
