This unit has been updated with new furniture including a flat screen TV. The bedroom has a "low profile" bed with tremendous views of the Gulf of Mexico. This unit has a wide balcony for you to sit back and enjoy the sunset.
El Matador Condominiums are located next to 17 miles of uninhabited beach. To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Relaxing Vacation
Checking in easier than most. We arrived early, left our number and they called as soon as room was ready. As reviewed online, it is a little dated, but it’s spacious and clean and I loved our stay. It has to be the best location in Okaloosa!

Short getaway
The property was quite dirty and needed some maintenance. The toilet shifted each time you sat down, bathroom and kitchen weren't clean. The bathroom sink was very slow to drain and made the sink even dirtier. Elevators were extremely slow and sketchy. There was a full kitchen, but we needed to buy EVERYTHING (salt, pepper, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc. etc..)

Loved the view from the balcony and the quick access to the beach!
We stayed 4 nights here and loved the location and distance to FWB and Destin. Plus it was pretty secluded at the end of the road. The property had good amenities and great, quick access to the beach and pool. It was also nice to park so close to your room and not in a parking garage. The condo had lots of seating options on the balcony and everything we needed.
