I feel this property falsely advertised the condition of the home. This is the wirdt VRBO have stayed in and it will be difficult to trust booking future from this site. PROPERTY: I believe the condition of the property are remnants of past hurricanes or neglect. Rotten unsafe outdoor wooden stairs and decking, no working outside light (visible wires hanging), holes or old skylights with plywood nailed over and visible, original pictures appeared as drywall-spots of plaster were there ? Mold cover up, at least one bathroom had constant sewer smell, rotten outside door frame and not secured well. Windows so old unlikely would open in the event of a fire. I smoke detectors were old and when tested didn’t work well. Screened in deck was weathered moldy looking wood and missing ceiling fan- ceiling hole remained. No furniture in the posting was actually there. Guide book showed deeded beach access and landmarks, houses/landmarks are wiped out and you have to cross construction sites to get to the beach. AREA: no matter how much we researched this they are still recovering. The road we were on had no working light posts- very dark. On Google Maps it looked like there was a neighborhood behind this house, change to terrain and you’ll see every house was wiped out and only roads remain. The other houses on this same street are new builds or actively going through remodel, except this house we stayed in. Beaches were unkept and not pleasant. Northbound traffic is ridiculous everyday
