The breakfast could easily be improved. The sausage was fine, and they had some small homemade muffins which were good, but eggs and coffee were flavorless and cold. Would be nice to have one or two stands to store luggage.

The room is nice. I thought the bed was OK. My wife did not like the bed. We also heard a lot of noise vibrating sounds that kept us awake at night and we were facing highway one so we heard all the road noise and trucks. In the front. We heard a chipper chipping wood on our last day from the back.

Good options and variety for the included/continental breakfast. Room was ok, pretty outdated. No wall AC/heat like most rooms have. There was a thermostat on the wall, we turned it down because it was warm in the room and wanted to cool the room down, but the vent was only blowing out hot air. The main reason for the low rating is that my fiancé and I booked a room with a King sized bed. When we got there, we checked in like normal, we were given the keys, and we went up to our room. When we got to the room, we saw that it was a room with 2 full sized beds. I called down to the lobby to ask about it and to mention we booked a room with a King bed, and I was told that something went on with one of their rooms the previous night, so that we had been “upgraded” to that room. I’m not sure how it was an upgrade when we wanted a bigger, King bed and instead got 2 full/double beds. It also would have been nice to have been told about the room change prior to us arriving or at least at the time of check-in, rather than having to call down to the lobby to ask and then be told that we were “upgraded”, that was not an upgrade in our opinion. If anything it was a downgrade.

The room and bed were big, the hotel is within walking distance of some good food, and a cliffside trail is just down the way for a nice dog walk. The front desk was friendly, the indoor pool was clean, and the breakfast was pretty good with plenty of choices. Served well for a weekend away.
