Absolutely wonderful stay. Quiet and private, but still so convenient in location. The fact we could bring our dog with us was a huge bonus. But we will be back again even if no pets with us. Couldn’t fault our stay in any way. Better than any hotel or apartment accomodation. Host was amazing. Thanks Beck

Good location, close to town and short drive to beaches. Needs a little TLC in the garden, particularly at the rear. Would benefit from some outdoor chairs and shade on the rear deck. A BBQ would be a good addition too. Having said that the property is good value for money.

Great place for the family, quiet street..Great backyard for dogs (we have two small dogs).Close to shops and the beach.Very clean and comfortable place with nice front yard and backyard.I would book this place again if I ever stay in foster again.Thank you again beck.

House as described with accurate photos of the interior. Was perfect for our short stay with our little dog. Quiet at night. Beds were very comfortable and lounge area comfortable with good working Smart TV. I didn’t cook so can’t comment but kitchen appeared well equipped and clean. Big shower with a great water flow and lots of hot water. Well equipped laundry if needed. The garden was a bit overgrown but our dog isn’t an explorer so not a huge problem for the few days and apparently ‘a work in progress’. There were 2 big dogs next door but they were also very quiet apart from the odd bark and securely behind fences. The driveway is a bit narrow from greenery overhang and could be difficult with a bigger car then our X-Trail but the carport was good to park the car off the street. Short drive to various eateries or clubs and lots of quiet streets to walk the dog. We did have a very pleasant stay, I would stay again and recommend to anyone else. Only small suggestion I would make would be a couple of outdoor chairs and table for the back verandah, was lovely out there in the sun. There is however a shady table and chairs out the front that we did picnic on. (Also the mailbox kept falling off its post ). Was a pretty and comfortable ‘home from home’.

The house was both quaint and nice. It was well stocked with all necessities for a comfortable stay. It was also ideally located being central to Forster's amenities and it was definitely good value. There were a couple of minor issues, top drawer and pantry cupboard sticking in the kitchen, driveway palm fronds needing trimming for better car access and we found it difficult to keep warm with just the one airconditioner. Bed and furnishings were comfortable which is a big plus. Our cavoodle also seemed quite content and made herself at home.

Easy living

Home as described. Secure backyard that's suitable for dogs of all sizes. The backyard is a WIP and will be great once finished. Front yard is also secure, but a dog that jumps could get over the driveway gate.Inside was easy to maintain wth timber flooring throughout the main living areas. Hot water was fine. Can't comment on the WiFi as we didn't use but clear instructions were on the fridge. All basic items needed like washing liquid, etc were supplied.Location was fine and no road noise was noticeable. Walk to town centre approx 20 minutes depending on dog sniffing stops.In summary excellent value for money with the bonus of being dog friendly.Thanks Beck, for letting us stay in your home.

Perfect little house

We loved our stay at this property. It was very clean & very comfortable. We had every thing we needed in the kitchen to cook our meals.The location is perfect with the river being only a 5 minute walk and the beach an easy 20 minute walk.Its only a 15 min walk to town.Our host was lovely too.We would definitely stay there again.

Great location, close to amenities.

Very comfortable property for up to four people. Walking distance to Main Street, beach, shopping centre, bowling club, Macdonalds. Secure yard for our dog and the pantry was stocked with essentials (except Vegemite). Would love to stay here next time we visit Forster. Thank you Beck ….. lovely holiday destination.

Retreat in Forster

The house was just as presented on the web. It was great that linen was supplied. It was well located only a five minute drive from shops, restaurants etc. The yard was very secure so our greyhound was safe and enjoyed investigating the garden beds which were a bit overgrown. We would be happy to stay there again.
