I chose this hotel in order to be close to the city center and it certainly is close to the major places of interest in Firenze. The staff members are excellent, providing friendly and useful information upon arrival and all through my stay. The hotel is a reconverted villa, kind of quirky, and it shows its age. The rooms are not very quiet but, fortunately, everyone went to bed at a reasonable hour. The breakfast (not included) was a pretty basic Italian hotel breakfast, nothing special, but something for everyone. If you want to be close to the action at a budget price, this the place.

The hotel is located in an excellent location in the middle of walkable center of city. As a "budget" hotel, it is in an old building with aging furniture and fixtures, but in Florence you just need a clean room to spend as little time in it as possible. I would stay again.
