Horrible customer Service

Bobby who worked the front desk definitely ruined the stay for us. We had 2 room soft 3 nights each. When we arrived to check in he was very short, and very rude. We tried to get a second room key and were unable to. He refused to give us 2 even with 2 people in the room. He also hung up on us before even getting to the property when we called to ask if the room had fridges. I confronted him about getting hung up on and the lack of customer service only to be told "its fine" when things were clearly not fine. Otherwise the hotel is fine and you get what you pay for. Location was close to what we needed, but in the future we may look elsewhere after how we were treated.

Old property needs updating.

The property was in need of maintenance and repair. Rooms were okay, but the bathroom appliances and surfaces were old and out of date. The outside of the motel needs repair and updating.

Pros and more cons

The swimming pool is outside so it was closed. The breakfast had old stale tasting cereal and a waffle maker that would stick horribly even with the non-stick spray. The light switches looked like they were 50 years old. The beds creaked with every move. The TV was nice and the pillows were really good.

Breakfast was until 9:30, but it was being put away at 9:15. Checkout was at 11a, but we were locked out of our room with a changed keycard by 9:40. The front desk employee was unfriendly when we arrived. We liked that it was quiet and seemed more updated than other hotels in the area.

This motel was the only national chain motel in this area. It was well maintained and clean and included all the usual amenities in the room. Front desk staff completed the check-in correctly and in reasonable time but were not particularly professional.

Delta is small and remote- so some leniency is given. The hotel was clean, the desk clerk nearly impossible to understand and with a miscommunication check in wasn't easy. the bed squeaked bad and was very firm as were the pillows- not my preference. The room was newly remodeled -color choices weren't my favorite - bright yellow and bright blue? pre-school feel. Not many choices for food, but grateful for a CLEAN BED in this tiny town!
