Paid extra for a nice room. Room was 803, it smelt really strongbof damp. One of the legs of the bedside table was broken and had been glued on wonky with the glue dripping down it and dried. The room was also.really noisy with street noise. Very disappointed for a noce horel.

Overall, an excellent hotel. The changes at the restaurant (it used to be Colson’s , now Dotties) are a little disappointing, mostly because of cheaper decor of plastic flowers and animal print cushions clashing with the otherwise elegant hotel furnishings. Have stayed at the Indigo several times.

We were very disappointed with our stay. We received a call the day we were due to arrive to say they didn’t have enough beds in our room for one of our children even though we booked in February. When we arrived they had managed to find an extra bed that they made up only to find it had no springs in it so was not usable. An employee offered us a free breakfast but this was also very disappointing. When we sat down we waited 20 minutes for someone to take a drinks order and then waited 40 minutes for two breakfasts. One of the breakfasts was very disappointing as it came with no salmon as stated and looked like it should have only taken a couple of minutes to cook. Also was woken at midnight by staff on the first night by staff emptying glass bottles right outside the window which went on for quite a while. Such a shame as our previous visits to the hotel were very good. We will probably stay elsewhere next time.

This was supposed to be the eggs royale but with no salmon and a dry piece of toast supposed to be gluten free but told the hollandaise may contain traces.
This was the outside of our room at the back where all the noise came from at midnight

It’s the 4 hotel I have booked with Expedia where breakfast was included and when I get to the hotels I’m told no it’s not it’s got to the stage where I think i might stop using Expedia not at all happy it’s happening all the time lately

The room was ok a bit dusty in places. The Spa facilities were basic and again cleanliness was ok. There was a false eyelash and dirt next to the jacuzzi. There was a member of the bar staff that was excellent. Niamh knew her job very well and provided fantastic service.
