Good for a stop over on a longer trip, shame there is no onsite parking but there are car parks nearby. Friendly welcoming staff cosy room which had an amazing smell everyone you walked in.

Perfect central location with lovely staff.

Lovely greeting at reception and quickly got me sorted and to my room. Comfortable and spacious enough room for me - desk a little small to work from on my laptop. Clean room and bathroom. Food in the restaurant was good and the breakfast was spot on. Great location, very central but no noise at all overnight.

The room was in perfect condition, with plenty of amenities and luxuries. The reception staff are helpful and polite. However, breakfast was a disappointment. The price of breakfast is £20 per person, where you get a cafetière coffee or tea upon entry. I ordered a full English, and it was no better than what'd you get a premier inn. My girlfriend ordered avocado on toast, and that was no different than what you can make within 2 minutes at home. After we finished our hot breakfast, our dirty plates were sat infront of us for 20 minutes. Staff were constantly walking past ignoring it. We would have been much better off going to a café with our £40.

Good hotel, nice location

Hotel is in a good location, clean and the rooms are comfortable. I would prefer a self service breakfast, my server got my order wrong on both days that I stayed there. Happy to fend for myself and just order eggs as I need them.

Really nice stay at Hotel Indigo. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had a slight problem with cleanliness of bathroom on arrival but it was put right immediately by hotel manager. He was extremely apologetic and recompensed us for the inconvenience which we didn’t expect. Bar staff were very nice and waiting staff at breakfast great also

Check in was quick and efficient. Downstairs bar didnt offer full service (wouldn’t serve a bloody mary) lobby bar nice. Rooms in need of maintenance bit tired, paint touch ups, grouting etc. Breakfast was a total let down, the buffet was limited by the time we visited. My tea cup was served on a plate not a saucer. The tea and coffee were both low cost options. The food wasnt great, poached eggs were hard and plates weren’t hot. Definitely worth going out for breakfast.

Don’t stay here

We chose to stay at this property as it was highly recommended by friends and family, biggest mistake ever!!! We arrived at about 5:30pm and was given our room number and keys to our room, as we arrived to “our room” we opened the door and to our surprise the room was already occupied with two people having just gotten out of the shower. We were mortified! I went downstairs to advise of what had happened and the issue was “resolved” by offering an upgrade and 2 drinks on the hotel. I was pleased with this and thanked the receptionist for her help. About 10 minutes later we receive a further knock at the door of the room we were now in advising us this room was also occupied and we couldn’t stay in that room and had to move again. They then offered us breakfast tokens which was fine but we had to wait 40 minutes for our breakfast to arrive and was told there was no teapots available so we had to wait for some to free up! We were then given an accessible room which was right next to the door for the corridor, there was no shower as it was an accessible room so it was just a wet room, this is not what we booked! I went down to advise the receptionist that I was unhappy in this room and I was told there was no other rooms available and it was just that one they could offer, I asked for my money back to go home as at this rate we had missed our dinner reservation and was told they were unable to do this and we had to apply through hotels.com! I have now done this and been told no!

Stylish hotel but some reservations about service

Stylish hotel in a great location. Hard to understand why the bar closes at 10pm even for residents, though the night staff eventually managed to serve us.
