What a great find. Cave Castle is a lovely hotel and the staff are amazing. I contacted the hotel a few days before with some requests regarding my wife as she has mobility issues. One was for the room to be on the ground floor or close to the lift and the other was for extra pillows as my wife has to sleep upright. When we arrived the staff on reception pulled out our check0in notes and informed us that everything was set up as per our request. The staff are warm and friendly as well as helpful. If you want a base for exploring this part of Yorkshire come here and you won't be dissapointed.

Heating an issue - in cold for a few hours in a really icy spell outside (Room 29) but working with Amy she mended the boiler after a while and room warmed up from 9pm onwards. Amy was very helpful - thank you. Breakfast was good and staff really helpful.

This property is fantastic. Easy parking and great rooms. Staff were very friendly. Hotel was busy but you never heard a lot of noise. Breakfast had a great choice and cooked fresh after ordering. Would highly recommend.
