This place was very very lovely. It was the best rustic VRBO I’ve stayed in. The setting was amazing. The home was incredible with many personal touches, not the usual generic decore from Amazon or box stores. Communication with owners was available and prompt.

With all the smoke and horrible air quality we were having in NW Ohio from the fires I wanted to get away with my two kids for the weekend and found this nice little house 5 hrs south. So glad I did. I messaged and the host got right back to me. House was clean and had everything we needed. We had service the entire stay but they do provide WiFi and the ac kept the house cool despite the one in the master bedroom not working (blows warm air). Kids took the bedrooms upstairs and I slept downstairs with our dog. Yard was large and is fully fenced in which was nice. The store across the street was neat, had groceries and the ladies there were nice. There’s also a dollar general close by that has all the grocery’s and stuff you forgot to pack as well so you can avoid the neighboring major cities. The town is super quiet and peaceful. We sat for a few hours each night just listening to the sound of nature and quiet that we don’t get in the big city.. the lighting storms were also top notch as they reminded me of living in the Rockies out in Colorado. We ended up hitting some of the area parks and the Indiana caverns only 20 minutes away.. So glad we went as it was extremely nice. Before we left I walked across the street, knocked on a neighbors house and gave them the rest of our groceries we had bought since they would have gone bad and I didn’t want to pitch stuff that someone could use. We will definitely be back again in the near future for a weekend get away and to explore.
