Disliked: Cleanliness
First and foremost, our host was very welcoming and supportive during our stay. He even went out of his way to accommodate our stay for an extra day which we truly appreciated. The home is located in a great community and very close to restaurants and shopping centers, which made the location very convenient. Upon arrival, we went around choosing our rooms, and I noticed the home appeared dusty and there were visible stains on the walls. I’m not one to complain, so I didn’t mention it initially.However, when my sister arrived with her family and a newborn, she immediately noticed cleanliness issues in her room. There were pet hairs on the desk and hair on the pillows and bedsheets. She also had to purchase Clorox to clean the shower floor, which had yellow soap scum or urine buildup around it. The corners of the floors throughout the home also had noticeable dust and stains.Additionally, basic household essentials such as trash bags, toilet paper, and napkins were not provided, so we had to go out and purchase them ourselves. Especially since we paid a cleaning fee, we expected the home to be in clean and ready-to-use condition upon arrival.With better attention to cleanliness and properly stocking basic essentials, this home could offer a much better experience for future guests.
