The rooms are spacious and clean, which is a big plus. However, the furniture is quite worn out and could use an update. Unfortunately, there was a strong unpleasant smell in the room — something like dampness, old fabric, or maybe even animals. Breakfast was very basic. Overall, an average stay.

Beware as the deposit is $200 - $250 a night, which is questionable as this property is very old and it is not prominently posted in the fees. The room was nice, however, there were no shower amenities as there are in new hotels. Asked for more towels at check in and when they did not arrive after a couple of hours, I called multiple times to the front desk with no answer. When the front desk finally answered, they still never delivered. Never received the bottle of wine as stated in the reservation. In the morning I called to ask for a later check out and was only offered 30 mins extra.
