Cadlao Resort was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of our trip in the Philippines! From the second we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by the most amazing staff. Every single person greeted us with warm smiles, kindness, and a willingness to help with absolutely anything. Their genuine hospitality made us feel less like guests and more like family, and it’s something we’ll always remember. The entire resort is beautifully maintained and impeccably clean. Our room was spotless every day, and the pool areas were always pristine, making them the perfect place to relax after a day of island hopping. The food was another pleasant surprise—we loved everything we ordered from the menu, with fresh, flavorful dishes that we looked forward to every evening. Breakfast was equally impressive, with a wonderful variety of delicious options that gave us the perfect start to each day. What makes Cadlao Resort truly special isn’t just its beautiful setting—it’s the people. The staff’s warmth, professionalism, and constant smiles created such a welcoming atmosphere that it was genuinely hard to say goodbye. Thank you for making our family’s stay so memorable. We left with amazing memories, full hearts, and one wish: to come back again someday. If you’re visiting El Nido, don’t hesitate—Cadlao Resort is an absolute gem!

Their guest service is wonderful! The included shuttle to and from the airport and to local beaches is great! All of the staff are kind and attentive. I had issues with my first room but the hotel quickly provided a room move and sent me fruit and a bottle of wine. The location is situated close enough to town by walking but far enough to not be of the middle of it all. The cliff slide pool/roof deck area is beautiful. Loved the free tote bag as well. The turndown service was also very nice and included cookies. Also the mini bar is complimentary your first consumption. They also will do your laundry complimentary once (I learned this later after I used a service in town) but will note this for next time. The staff learn your names and provide an amazing experience/stay.

Superior service everywhere. Fabulous location. Well-designed resort atea and grounds. Room was reasonably spacious & plenty comfortable. Food was good but not exceptional; as such, prices of food & drinks were unreasonably high for what was offered. As example: my son ordered a burger for dinner; charge that was listed on check came out to almost USD$30(!!) as VAT and service charges are all automatically added Also: be aware generally of lots of extra charges. We had booked our travel through Expedia, which had labeled the room as for 3 people. When we arrived at resort, front desk said the booking was listed as for 2 people & then insisted that we pay an extra >$100 per night (a not-insignificant sum)
