The front desk staff forgot to give us our 6 am wake up call. Front desk staff also gave us incorrect sight seeing information. After I complained to Expedia last time, about this, the hotel gave us an unwanted very small inexpensive box of chocolates. When I told the hotel manager that we felt they should refund us fifty per cent of one night’s stay she refused and said she could not do that. When we argued with her she took off one of our breakfast charges. We do not believe this is adequate compensation for our very poor experience. Our room overlooked many train tracks and was very loud and noisy until midnight every day. The Cascada Hotel is situated in a dirty and derelict rundown area of town. The included breakfast offerings each morning were inconsistent, as was the very unpredictable unprofessional service at the hotel breakfast restaurant. This is not a four star hotel in any way shape or form.
