I called them Friday to tell them the ferry wasn't running so I couldn't get there and they told me I did NOT have a reservation! I was charged anyway. What is this even about? I spoke to a human there.

When I arrived to check-in at 8pm on a Saturday night, the employee had just gotten in their car so they met me in front of the hotel and seemed annoyed. She had put my key in an envelope with my full name and room number in the box next to the front door that anyone could have gotten into. As a solo female traveler, that did not feel great, but luckily I showed up before anyone else (Expedia also has their check in hours open til midnight so either Expedia is wrong or the employee was leaving early). The room itself was fine, the beds were comfortable, but the bathroom is not in good shape.

Unclean and unprofessional

The management didn’t tell us that the room wouldn’t be cleaned, so when we returned at 6 pm it was left disorderly and unclean with no clean bedding or towels. When we called the front desk, the manager was very rude and hung up the phone. In the morning when we asked to speak with the manager 3 times, no one showed up. I strongly recommend hotels.com drops this property listing.

I had never stayed in this hotel before and found it very comfortable and convenient for the areas I traveled to in the Cape. I would definitely stay there again! It was also quite affordable.

Fine for a night

The motel was conveniently located and the price was cheap. Check-in was smooth (self-service) and parking was easy. The room was fine. The sheets and towels were clean, and the bed was comfortable. The shower had good hot water and water pressure. I could hear the people next door talking and snoring and their tv. There was a huge black mold spot on the ceiling in the bathroom that was concerning. The shower curtain and liner were dirty and discolored and should be replaced. It was all fine for one night but I wouldn’t stay there again. There are many other options on that same road.

Amazing front desk lady working the Friday night evening shift. Smiles, friendly, outgoing, welcoming. Room was dirty. Dirt on the walls, bathroom floor gross and unswept. Spider colonies and nests in the corners. Carpet dirty and unvacuumed. Toaster full of loose crumbs on top and grime all around it. Beer bottle on the patio. Paid full in/season price for the room (at end of September) so it wasn’t like a “get what you paid for” situation. Just a really expensive, really dirty room.

Clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly, and the room was thoroughly clean. It didn’t look like much driving up, but when I got in the room it was fully updated with comfortable beds.

Excellent one night stay. Rooms were roomy, clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant. Excellent breakfast restaurant on site with outside patio or inside tables. I would stay there again.
