There was a plastic cup from the people before us under the rocking chair. The door in between our room and our neighbor's allowed us to hear everything they said and what was playing on their TV and knowing that, we didn't feel a sense of privacy since they could hear the same. The worst part of this stay was when we got back to the hotel at night and saw police knocking on someone's window and saw police officers knocking on that same room's door 4 doors down from us. The door was then sawed into around 1am and we could not fall asleep because of the noise and worrying about what was going on a few doors down. After that awful night we do not plan on coming back here again.

Close to Whitewater University. Clean room. Limited breakfast items but better that nothing. Reasonable rate, I would stay here again.

The outside doors were never locked regardless what time we came in. When we came in the place was almost vacant yet we were given a room in the back of the property and asked to drive around and park in the back because it was closest to our room. We followed instructions felt insulated! It was pouring rain no cover and to be honest scarey back there. I refused to leave my car back there and moved it to the front. We never used that entrance again but found a side entrance which was just as close. We had reservations for a week. Never will I stay there again.

The staff, both day and evening were so friendly like we’ve been there before. The rooms were clean the little breakfast area it was clean. I was quite impressed and going to make sure and tell all my friends to stay there. Thank you for treating us guests, more like family.

Stay somewhere else

There are few lodging options in Whitewater, but I would not recommend staying here. CONS: The room has a ripped shower curtain causing water all over, the floor lamp was broken and could only stand by it leaning into a corner. Desk chair had no center of gravity and made it impossible to sit correctly. Also swore I saw a cockroach in the room...ugh! Everything in the room and throughout the hotel was dated and showed significant signs of wear and tear. Pool room temperature was 60°, which in January is damn cool. PROS: Offers a mediocre breakfast. Has a pool.

A Good Night’s Sleep

We needed a room for one night. This hotel was fine, a little older and a little cheaper, and near shopping, gas, restaurants, etc. It has a pool, which we didn’t use. It has a breakfast, which we did use. We slept very well. That’s about all we needed for a night away from home.
