This was a cute, rustic cabin which we visited in October. We took our 2 young grandkids here as they wanted to go camping and this was a substitute for actual tent camping but gave the experience of camping replete with spiders dangling over the beds and in the clothes. (Make sure to close your suitcases) We did have a wonderful time. The hot tub and fire pit for somemores in the back of cabin were great and we explored the backyard and creek with our 3 5 year olds. The king bed upstairs is a foam bed and firm but comfortable. The other beds wer just ok and both the kids and their mom bumped their heads often on the beams that hang over the beds in the lofts. There was way to much stuff (nicknacks, placards, and visual clutter) for our tastes all over the place and we had to move stuff just to prepare dinners in the kitchen and use the bathrooms. It might be helpful to have less stuff as visitors staying in the house may also have their own stuff to set out. Also, many of the rooms including the dinning room and king bed room are very tight for moving around with such large furniture. Kitchen had some pots and pans for basic cooking and also it was nice to have a few spices there. The state parks near the cabin were nice but nothing great if one is traveling from out of state or far away. We found that it was nicer to just stay at the cabin and enjoy the woods around the cabin and quite peach there. We liked sitting in the chairs outside and the hammocks.
