Don't overlook the Sandwich Motel!

We stayed for just one night in October 2025, and had chosen this motel for the outdoor space (seating area with firepit next to a pond). Turns out it was raining, so we didn't spend time outdoors, but the area is just as pictured, and the unit we stayed in even has a small attached deck with chairs. The motel is older, but rooms have been totally updated and are very clean and comfortable. Check in and check out were quick and easy. We highly recommend this motel-a great place and a great price!

Really great experience with the front desk when checking in. It makes a huge difference knowing that my comfort matters. Clean quiet room central to all the things that make historic Sandwich such a cool place to visit.

I booked 2 nights. The room was updated although a strong mold smell was evident. I asked staff to get a room spray. Helped for a few hours. I tried a one night stay in that room but the mold triggered an allergic reaction: nasal congestion and a dry cough. Complained about it in the morning and was told there were no more rooms. There was a section of laminate flooring coming apart and very saggy and a cool breeze was coming in. I mentioned that to the desk staff. Spent another night next to opened windows…allergic reaction again with the sane symptoms including bloody mucus….

This is a very high standard motel. It is equivalent to many name brand hotels that are twice the price. Food and shopping are just a few minutes drive away.
