This hotel has no TV in the rooms, nor does it have WiFi. The place is quite run down. The furniture in the rooms is dusty. The floors are not cleaned properly.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in!! Given the key to a room that’s hadn’t been cleaned. Then given the key to a room with no TV!! No rooms have a TV there is no internet either! This company have taken over this hotel and it’s a shambles. Reception promised to look for a TV and didn’t bother to get back to me.

Staff took a while to come to the check in desk. Staff didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing he was reading instructions off his phone. When i booked the room it said it would have a TV and it did not. and instead of main ceiling light there weee lamps dotted around the room. Bedding was a bit stained as well.

First impressions weren’t great as it looks very run down on the outside. Step inside and it’s a different story. Yes there are areas that need work but it’s clear this place has recently been taken over and they have plans. From markings on all the rotten window frames I believe they’re replacing them all. The room was very decent remembering this double room cost less than £40. Two negatives - no tea bags in the room and the mattress wasn’t great. I slept on top of the duvet for extra comfort but luckily it was in the middle of a heat wave. My wife slept under and was ok but a bit springy. However considering it’s next to a main road it was extremely quiet and we got a good nights sleep. I would stay again if other hotel prices were more expensive on the day I needed. They have plans for a bar and food. This may make it more expensive I’m not sure but for now I don’t regret our choice at all.

Room was pretty big with a wardrobe and the location was perfect since it is located close to the motorway exit. Parking spaces were there. We had a kettle jug/ coffee/tea/milk and sugar in the room. Bed was okay and we there were towels and hand towels as well. There were two hand wash bottles inside the bathroom and I believe it can be cleaned a little bit more. 2 bed side cupboards were dusty. Wifi is not available and the receptionist mentioned that they removed the TV and they mentioned it in the website. Restaurants were closed. Okay for the price we paid.

On arrival to the property, there was no reception staff! Then I was given keys to a room which hadn't been cleaned! I booked an Executive double room but was given different description!! The room did not have a Tv or teabags. Lastly they advertised 'Wi-fi ..but there was No 'Wi-fi !!

The room was good for the price and generally comfortable, which I appreciated. However, my experience with one of the staff members left a lot to be desired. They came across as disinterested and quite rude. I was also overcharged for coffees, despite the correct prices being clearly displayed on the blackboard behind the counter. When I pointed out the mistake, I was given another coffee to make up for it, but there was no apology or acknowledgment of the error. In fact, the staff member mentioned they'd been charging everyone that way for a while, which was concerning. The next morning, I noticed the coffee prices had been wiped off the board. A different staff member served me that time and was able to find the correct price on the till with no issue—suggesting the previous overcharging may have been due to laziness or carelessness. Overall, the stay was fine, but the customer service and handling of pricing mistakes definitely need improvement.

Bank Holiday break..

Not entirely sure what to say about this as it was clean, but felt a bit deserted most of the time and there were one staff on duty some of the time, the chef was on split shifts so unable to have any snacks when we arrived, we were asked at one point how we had booked there for three night's as there wasn't anything in the area! We used it as a base for visiting Warwick castle, the safari park etc...we did feel as if they did what they had to do during our stay? Ideal for a base however wouldn't return there .
