Overall not bad

Nice hotel, having work done so corridors were abit messy. Booked a queen room was given a double. Abit further out from city centre then expected. Otherwise it was clean and comfortable.

Only stayed one night but had a very pleasant stay. Had a problem with the room we were originally given but the lady on reception sorted it out and moved us to an upgraded room. Both were actually very nice rooms aside from our issues in the first one we were given , which I believe we're related to ongoing refurbishments. Had a reasonably priced breakfast (£10 each) which was very good quality, well presented and the lady managing the breakfast room could not have been more helpful to everyone there, she was a credit to the hotel. Recommended.
