⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment we arrived at Matakauri Lodge to the warm farewell at departure, the level of service and care we received was beyond anything we expected — truly world class. Every detail felt thoughtful, personal, and seamless, making our entire stay not just luxurious, but deeply restorative. The food was absolutely exceptional — each dish a celebration of flavour and artistry. Every meal felt like an experience in itself, paired beautifully with the surrounding views and gracious hospitality. Our room was nothing short of magical. Waking up to those breathtaking views was a joy each morning, and the luxurious bathroom added a touch of indulgence to every day. The bed — oh, the bed! — felt like floating on a cloud, making restful sleep effortless and dreamy. We have absolutely no complaints… except that we had to leave. But one thing is certain: we will return. Matakauri Lodge is not just a destination — it’s a sanctuary. A place to recharge, reconnect, and remember how beautiful life can be. Until next time.

I like tgat it was a small but still luxiourious. Very frindly staff that made you feel welcome the moment you set foot onside inside the front door.
