Good and Affordable

The hotel was ok for a 1-2 night stay. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was small. The rooms needed to be painted. In the morning the trays for the hot breakfast were empty. All other cold foods were fine. Staff was friendly.

Nice but a little musty

For the most part. Nice clean hotel. Musty smell probably coming from carpet and dirty vents on ac (not cleaned). Hopefully like a lot of modern hotel they will go to hardwood m/ carpetless floors. If rugs could talk lol. Carpet owners know this lol

The staff was great. Just a stop on way home to FL. I did leave something in room and the staff located it quickly and it’s being mailed to my home. Coffee was good and the b’fast was good, too.

The room was a bit dirty, oily film on the bathroom floor. Looks like mildew on one of the lamp shades in room 131. Refrigerator was turned off and it was very dirty.

Not so pleasant

Checked in at night and the gentleman was very friendly. When we arrived in our room we opened the fridge to put our drinks and fresh pet in there only to discover mold!!! The freezer had about an inch of water in it and mold floating on the top. The door of the fridge also had mold on it. We were so tired we ended up just getting ice from the ice machine and putting the fresh pet in the cooler of ice. In the morning I went to take a shower and realized when I was already in the shower that there was no body soap!!! Needless to say I had to use shampoo to wash myself. My only option at that point. Thankfully we were only there one night on a pitstop to Florida. In the morning at checkout I told the man about the refrigerator and the lack of body wash his response was “sounds like house keeping didn’t do their job”. I will say the young lady working the breakfast area was very nice and apologetic and even gave me the GMs business card. I expected a better overall experience.

Like Family

Our daughter and her family live in Dunn so the Country Inn & Suites is our home away from home. Patrick at the front desk is a good person and all of the staff are kind and accommodating.

Not happy with my stay at Country Inn Suites by Ra

The rooms looked nothing like what was shown online. There was a damp smell in the rooms. The sheets and covers weren't clean. The air conditioner was loud. The vent in the bathroom was full of dust and didn't work. The hotel is very misleading online. I spent way too much money for that room that was definitely not worth the price. The Radisson Hotel in Virginia Beach where I live is totally different. This one wher me and my son stayed in Erwin is giving them a bad name. Im really upset about how much money I spent for a room that reminded me of a outside motel 6.

What happened to Country Inn and Suites?

There was unflushed urine in the toilet and a drop of urine on the toilet rim. The check-in person offered to give us a different room, but we were already settled in before I realized that my husband hadn’t left that. I wore socks around the room and they were filthy when I looked at them afterwards. The room was very quiet, but I was very disappointed in the quality of this chain. I doubt I will stay at another again.
