Family holiday in Dubrovnik

The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. Internet WiFi access was really good in the hotel. Swimming pool was great and the restaurant next to it had really nice food too and great service. Couldn't recommend this hotel more and would love to stay again.

Great 4 days stay. This was our 2nd time in this hotel. We wanted to have easy break at the pool. Everything was great again. We also enjoy other activities like, basketball and video games.

Brilliant stay

Family of four staying in adjoining rooms which was perfect. Modern decor in rooms,very comfortable and spacious bathrooms. Water and fruit on arrival in room and fridge for your useage.Rooms cleaned to a high standard daily. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice. Dinner was really good too, again buffet style with plenty to choose from. Pool was brilliant with the added bonus of swim up bar and slides for all to enjoy. Plenty sun loungers and nobody could put their towels down until 9am which I thought was so much better than many places I have visited before. Great snack bar also for lunch which you could takeaway. We didn’t use Maro world but it seemed a great option for kids. Short walk to the beach which was beautiful to swim in. Top tip is take water shoes as most beaches are Peebles. There is a few shops/restuarants very near by which is handy for snacks/water and gifts. We booked the 3 island full day trip through the hotel which I would highly recommend. Very good value and idyllic islands, again take your water shoes! Ubers are a good way to get about to visit other places as is the bus which we used to go into cavtat - such a beautiful spot especially when the sun is setting. We visited the city walls, pick your time to go as the heat is intense. Worth doing though. Overall a lovely hotel in a great location.

Quite well locates only 15 minutes from old town by bus or car, access to local beaches were great to have. Maro world is GREAT for children. Hotel staff were not that friendly, I would have expected better. Also, pillows were quite uncomfortable

Die Benutzung der 3 Pools (2 vom Partnerhotel) hat und gut gefallen. Auch, dass man immer Handtücher bekommen hat war toll. Das Zimmer war geräumig und wurde auch immer gut gepflegt. Frühstücksbuffet war großzügig und gut. Die Preise in den Hotel-Restaurants/Bars waren etwas hoch für das was man bekommen hat. Die Pina Colada hat nach fast gar nichts geschmeckt, die Annanas war schon etwas älter… Die Klimaanlage war recht laut, aber war nicht so schlimm. Einige Strände in der Nähe (ca. 15min Gehzeit) Alles in Allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt!

Everything was great during our stay. A/C could be better but worked well. Breakfast buffet was ver wide ranging and had plenty of options. Staff were great and friendly and helpful. Pools were nice but kids loved the slides but they get old ofter a few days. Overall great stay and great accommodations. Would come back here again.

Valamar Tirena is a beautiful resort with wonderful and helpful staff. The place is beautiful along with its location. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We had our daughter with us and she loved everything about the place. It is easy to head to the beach or catch a bus or cab into the old town so the location is very convenient. We recommend this place to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

Very close to the small “mall” nearby where there are a handful of souvenir/convenience shops and restaurants. Some of the reception and concierge staff were not very helpful.

It’s s great location not too far from old town. Hotel is modern and very clean. beach is short walk need water shoes and towel. Beach chairs are $35 per person. We had beautiful time in Dubrovnik I was just very disappointed with level of service. When I arrived I paid for the hotel and transport. I was called in day before departure to come downstairs. They asked me give them my flight information and departure. I was told my bill was already settle and I have no balance. On the departure I dropped room cards and I being told I have not paid my bill and requesting another night accommodation. My transport pick was already there and they made me wait as receptionist was taking to somone on the phone not understanding why my bill was not paid. Maid me pay another $350 euros and treated me like a criminal in front of long line of people. Bad costumer service.

We had a lovely stay here, would definitely recommend! Room was great and breakfast was probably the best breakfast buffet we’ve had in a hotel. Great location just a short bus ride or Uber from Old Town but lots of nice restaurants in walking distance from the hotel too plus some beach clubs not far away. There’s a big pool with lots of sun beds, for any couples like us who want a more adults only feel the sister hotel up the road has a pool that we were allowed to use which had fewer children. We had the best time and would definitely stay here again - thank you to all the friendly and welcoming staff!

Great place for families with amazing breakfast. They do have an atm in lobby and decent currency exchange service. Pool area has option for small and big kids with slide options. Short walk to nice beach, but preferably wear water shoes. I can see myself coming back to this propery.

This hotel is beautiful and has great amenities. It is very close to restaurants and the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed every bit of staying at this hotel. It is also a 15 minute drive to the Old Town which is worth the drive.
